A page that sells nothing

We do not publish lotto results

Draw results and predictions are 678,200 searches a month in Ghana, 73% of everything researched for this market and several times the size of sports betting. This site publishes none of it, links to no bookmaker from this page, and earns nothing from you being here. Here is why, and where the answer actually is.

678,200 searches a month for results and predictions
579,100 of those name the lottery directly, 62% of the whole market
175,100 searches a month for sports betting, which is what this site covers

A stale results page is not a slightly worse page

Publishing draw results is not a writing job. It is a feed that has to update within minutes of every draw, be watched when it breaks, and be corrected in public when it is wrong. This desk does not run one, has no arrangement to receive results, and would be building the page out of whatever another site had already published.

That version fails in a specific way. A page of numbers that were correct yesterday looks exactly like a page of numbers that are correct today. Somebody checking a ticket against it gets a wrong answer about their own money and no signal that anything is wrong, and it is worse than the empty page they would have left in two seconds. The commercial version of this argument is even simpler: a lottery search that lands on a betting site converts at nothing, and the only thing spent is the reader's trust.

The size of a keyword is not a reason to publish. It is a reason to check whether you can publish it properly.

What Ghana is actually typing

The phrases below are the largest lottery searches in the file this desk works from, 305,000 of them a month between these 12 alone. They are search phrases, not a list of official draws: which of them is a current National Lottery Authority game, which is a licensed private one and which is a habit left over from something that closed is not established here, and a table implying otherwise would be making the same mistake as a stale results page in a different column.

Lottery phrases by monthly search volume, from the network's Ghana keyword file. This site publishes a results page for none of them.

Where the result actually is

With whoever ran the draw, and nowhere else that is worth relying on. For the national game that is the National Lottery Authority; for a licensed private game it is the operator that ran it. Their own channels and the televised draw are the record, and every third-party page is a copy that is only as fresh as its last refresh.

This page prints no results address, and that is the same rule as everything above it: nothing in our file carries one we have verified, and a link that quietly stops working is a stale page with extra steps. What is worth carrying is the licensing question, and that sits with the Gaming Commission of Ghana.

Predictions, bankers and the people selling them

A large share of that search volume is not asking for a result at all. It is asking for tomorrow's numbers, and the market answering it is substantial. There is nothing behind it. No method changes what a draw does, nobody selling numbers is in a position to know otherwise, and the Gaming Commission's advertising guidelines forbid any suggestion of an assured win precisely because the claim keeps being made.

The money in a prediction service comes from the sale of the prediction. That is the whole model, and it works whether the numbers land or not. It is also the reason this desk will not publish a tips page in either market it covers: a page that has to be right to be worth reading, and cannot be, is not a page.

What this site does instead

Sports betting, and the bookmakers licensed for it. That is a fraction of the searching on this page, 175,100 a month against 678,200, and it is a subject where the facts hold still long enough to be published honestly: a licence is on a public register, a cashier states a payout time, an accumulator ladder has terms you can read. Draw results have none of those properties without a feed.

There is no bookmaker named on this page and no link on it that pays us. If you came here for a draw result, the honest thing this site can do is take up less of your evening.

Asked about lotto

Do you publish last night’s lotto results?

No, and we are not going to. Publishing draw results means running a feed that updates within minutes of every draw, checking it, and correcting it when it breaks. Without that, a results page is a page of numbers that were right once. Somebody checking a ticket against it would be checking against yesterday, and would not know.

Where should I check a Ghanaian draw result?

With the body that ran the draw. For the national game that is the National Lottery Authority, and for a licensed private game it is the operator that ran it. Their own channels and the televised draw are the authoritative record, and a third-party page repeating them is only ever as fresh as its last update.

Why does this site link to no lottery results page?

Because we have not verified one, and an unverified link is the same failure as a stale table one step further along. When this desk can stand behind an address it will print it. Until then it will name the body rather than guess at a URL.

Do lotto predictions and banker tips work?

No method changes what a draw does, and nobody selling a prediction is in a position to know otherwise. Ghana's own advertising guidelines forbid any suggestion of an assured win for exactly this reason. If a page or a WhatsApp group is charging for numbers, the money it makes is coming from the sale, not from the draw. Our responsible gambling page sets out the limits and self-exclusion tools that do exist.

What does this site cover instead?

Sports betting and the bookmakers licensed for it, which is a much smaller pool of searching and a subject where the facts hold still long enough to be worth publishing. The scoring model behind that is set out in full on how we score.
